Logo design

Since I need to also explore brand identity and logo design for my internship and portfolio, I thought of experimenting with some mock logos. 

Which one do you think works the best?

Sunday afternoon scribbles

I spent the entire Sunday at home. Didn't step out for even a bit. And scribbled away.

Staying indoors can be fun sometimes. Specially if it is 35 degrees outside !

Typography T-shirt

We had an assignment to create a t-shirt with the statement: I know nothing about Typography. The t-shirt had to have things about typography written in it, so that that statement would actually prove to be ironical. 

I came up with a simple design.

I just gave the t-shirt for printing today. So damn expensive :-/

Iranian art and design

For our typography class, our teacher showed us a lot of typographical designs by Iranian artists. Most of it was awe-inspiring. Beautiful calligraphy, colors etc. She also showed us a book full of their work and from that I was pushed to create this piece. 

I really want to learn more about Iranian art and culture. The work by Reza Abedini is simply wonderful. Do go have a look HERE.

Illustration assignments

I dug these out of my portfolio case. I had made these during my illustration course last semester. It was great fun. We were given a set of facts and had to choose two and illustrate them.

What fun really !

Typography contd.

I am really enjoying this class, even though most of the time it makes me feel really incapable of doing anything right. My teacher is great. But I really long to 'get it' which hasn't happened really.
