Auroville

This was a place I instantly fell in love with. As soon as I stepped foot on that reddish-brown soil, I knew that 4 day trip would seem too short. I knew I'd wanna stay longer, come back, maybe even stay there for a couple of years.
Pondicherry is wonderful, with its quaint French architecture and colonial charm. But Auroville is something else altogether. I yearn to go back, this time for longer.

A few pages from my sketchbook.

Svaram is a great place to experience. I had a brilliant time learning about music, using unique musical instruments and making an instrument of my own. It was extremely fulfilling.

Hey there! I don't remember how I landed on your blog, but I am glad I did. I have been reading your posts, and love them. Blogrolling you. Will be back to read more. :)

I love Pondicherry. I have been there only once yet, and loved the experience. Would love to go again. We couldn't visit Auroville, though.

We were thinking of visiting Pondicherry again during the short holiday we plan to take for Diwali. Would love to see Auroville then.

Would be great if you could recommend a good place to stay in at Pondicherry or Auroville. Also, we couldn't play in the water at the Pondicherry beach as it is closed off to public. That is one thing we would love to do. How about Auroville? Is the beach open to people there? Any beach-side resorts that we can choose?

Do let me know. Awaiting your comment.
